A break above a major swing point means nothing until the candle closes. Price wicks through the old HIGH, takes the stops sitting there, then closes back below it. That is a Swing Failure Pattern, an SFP. So ask one simple question: did the candle close above the swing? If no, that is weakness, not strength. Now zoom in on the LTF and wait for a strong MSB, then use the IMB it leaves behind for your entry. Skip the chase and let the failure prove itself first. Stop reading the wick as the breakout, and start reading it as the trap. #SwingFailurePattern #PriceAction #SmartMoneyConcepts
