A break above a major swing point means nothing until the candle closes. Price wicks through the old HIGH, takes the stops sitting there, then closes back below it. That is a Swing Failure Pattern, an SFP. So ask one simple question: did the candle close above the swing? If no, that is weakness, not strength. Now zoom in on the LTF and wait for a strong MSB, then use the IMB it leaves behind for your entry. Skip the chase and let the failure prove itself first. Price does not trend forever. It runs out of fuel. Count the breaks after the MSB. BoS 1 and BoS 2 still have MOMENTUM behind them, and each one leaves an IMB you can trade from. Then comes BoS 3. Now ask one simple question: how much push is left? Usually not much. That late break is where price traps the traders who showed up last, then the next MSB flips the trend on them.
